History

American Christian School is a non-profit school, established in 1964. Initially, the school was housed in a renovated factory building in Dover. A small band of teachers was recruited and in 1966 the Roxbury property was acquired. American Christian School began its very first semester at 126 South Hillside Avenue with 42 students. The teachers’ faithfulness to God, and passion for their calling, set a standard that remains to this day.

The students of American Christian School have graduated and populated universities and professions across the United States. They fulfill God’s purpose and implement the primary teachings of the Classical Christian Curriculum.

ACS continues to develop purposeful and generous young men and women who are living out the Scriptures and bringing God's wisdom, truth and love into the world.
