The Result: A Path to Pursue Quality Christian Education from Pre-school to College or Career at Three Locations
ROCKAWAY NJ – American Christian School (ACS), serving pre-K to high school students with campuses in Succasunna and Rockaway, has jointly announced with Arrow Academy of Whippany that they will become one school this coming year. This partnership enhances their shared mission while ensuring that each school retains its distinct identity and strengths.
“Starting this Fall, ACS will be welcoming Arrow Academy, a Christian preschool through 6th-grade school, into the ACS family” announced Kristen Brennan, Head of School at ACS. The arrangement, approved by the boards of both Arrow Academy and ACS, will allow the merged institution to serve a larger geographic area, with three locations (Succasunna, Whippany and Rockaway).
“For 17 years, Arrow Academy has faithfully served its community, and its leadership believes that joining ACS will allow both schools to flourish in new and exciting ways,” commented John Oliveira, head of the board overseeing Arrow. Kristen Brennan noted that “this combination is a tremendous honor for us and a testament to the trust Arrow has in our ability to continue their legacy of providing exceptional Christian education. For ACS, this integration strengthens our mission and expands the reach of Christian education to even more families beyond our Succasunna elementary campus.”
“And as Arrow continues to grow” she continued, “it holds great potential to become a strong feeder school for our middle and high school, further enhancing our community and expanding educational options.”
Arrow will remain in its current location, under the leadership of Principal Won Kyu Rim and Vice Principal Maria Vinci. When fully integrated this fall, total enrollment across the campuses is anticipated to be around 400 students.
