Keith Ressa

Mr. Ressa was raised in a loving Christian home but did not accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior until he was 15 years old while on a Youth Group Missions Trip to Gary, Indiana in 1995. Keith graduated High School in 1998 and attended several community colleges before transferring to Liberty University in 2001. Mr. Ressa graduated Liberty University in 2004 with a Bachelors in Science and began post-graduate work in 2005 and teacher certification in 2006. Mr. Ressa taught History and Bible at Hunterdon Christian Academy from 2006-2008, before pursuing a Masters Degree at Liberty from 2008-2010. After receiving his Masters, Mr. Ressa accepted an opportunity to work in sales and marketing in the private sector from 2010-2013. In 2013, Mr. Ressa made the decision to enlist in the U.S. Army and served as an Infantrymen as part of the 10th Mountain Division in upstate New York from 2014 to 2017. After receiving his honorable discharge in 2017, Mr. Ressa decided to use his Post-9/11 GI Bill to begin his PhD. work at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2018-2019. Due to several family emergences in 2019, Mr. Ressa moved back to the United States and continued his PhD. work at Liberty University. Mr. Ressa has been a proponent of Classical Christian Education for over 15 years and is thankful to teach at American Christian School where such a philosophy of education is championed and promoted.
