14th Annual Banquet & Silent Auction Soared to Success!

Our 14th Annual Banquet & Silent Auction was held on November 18th at Casa Bianca in Oak Ridge where families, friends and sponsors gathered together to celebrate ACS.

The night was amplified by the beautiful and desirable auction items, which included student art, jewelry, vacation homes and of course, Mr. Busch’s “world famous” bundt cake. Parents also had to chance to bid on unique items like “4th grade teacher for the day,” and “four front row seats to graduation.”

Additionally, guests had the opportunity to hear from our amazing student leaders, who shared their stories about their time here at ACS, two of which, who are now seniors, have attended ACS since Kindergarten. Matthew Landis, senior, writes, “I thank God for His goodness in this place, that ACS has acted as a shelter from the world. Not a shelter that leaves us unaware of the dangers of the world, but one that protects us while we learn of them.”

The goal of the banquet each year is to raise money for ACS but it’s also an opportunity for fellowship and deeper connections between families. We are truly grateful to our families and banquet committee for creating such a wonderful night.
